A Family at the End

Four siblings carry their father, a driven scientist now a shadow of himself, through years of wandering a zombie-ridden land. Until they find a lost girl. As far as they know, the first child born since the outbreak. To their father, a chance for a cure. A new plan: dig in, buy time, and hold.

A grounded story of survival, loyalty, old wounds, and the bitter frictions of a motherless family, where hope flickers back to life at the end of the world.

Turn-Based Combat

Every fighter has a role and a place in the line. Every effect sets up the next: tar the walking corpses, then set them ablaze; shock, expose, blind them. Turn lamps, barrels, and cranes to your advantage, and pull the right item at the right time. Deploy auto-weapons at the rear, from crossbows to flamers and mortars. And watch the pressure: tension builds until someone snaps, for better or worse.

This is a hard game. You will fall, learn, and come back sharper. Weigh the risk of every foray and plan your respites. And above all, when the Tide's waves come, hold the barricades to the last breath.

Base Building

Draw a line among the ruins at a cliff's edge, and turn the debris into a working camp. Restore the chapel, tend a greenhouse, build a workshop, improvise a solar rig. Raise a barricade and electrify it. Craft items, then upgrade and power your buildings.

Split your people between forays and camp duties, gather resources, feed everyone, and trade whatever you can spare. Every brick laid stands between the living and the dead.

Character Progression

Recruit new fighters, level them up, raise their stats, and unlock new skills. Let bonds grow between them until they step in for each other in battle.

Find unique Hardware for the camp and Holdovers to carry into combat: relics of the world before, priceless now. Learn new crafting recipes, upgrade arms and armor, and engineer auto-weapons. Bear the consequences too: a wound can linger long after the foray, and a bad call can leave you at the Tide's mercy.
